Cara's First Post

Look at me. It's my first post to the Alaskan Adventure blog.
I am thrilled to think that with every passing day our trip gets closer...and closer.

We now have 22 days. Wow. Times flies.
When we first booked the trip, I can remember thinking, "June is so far away. I'll never make it."
And now it's almost here.

I spent some time the other night checking out things to do in Vancouver.
Looking into Gastown, Commercial Drive, Granville Island Market.
At this point, I am thinking more about Vancouver than Alaska!
I have always wanted to travel to Vancouver and never really had a desire to go to Alaska.
Krista asked me to join her and I said, "Why not?"
But since then I have really gotten excited about the most northern state.

We are starting to think more about what we will be packing, what bags we will carry on, etc.

I am thrilled that we will be sharing out trip in photos and videos with you all.

Let the countdown begin!
